Summer appears to be the season of rugged phones and
it does make sense as the luckiest of us are able to enjoy some days at the
beach, a really dangerous place for our beloved smartphones. Well, the latest
tough device to hit the market arrives from HOMTOM’s sub-brand – ZOJI, with the
new Z33.
The ZOJI Z33 comes with a large 5.85-inch In-cell
display sporting 720*1512 HD+ resolution, an 18:9 aspect ratio and the “trendy”
notch at the top. Inside its rugged IP68 waterproof body we instead find a
decent Mediatek MT6739 quad-core CPU along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage
(expandable to 256GB via microSD).
In the camera department we find a must have dual
camera setup comprising of a main Samsung 16MP shooter and a secondary 2MP
sensor, at the front we instead find a 13MP shooter by OV with the Face
unlocking feature.
The Z33 then sports a large 5000mAh battery, a rear
placed fingerprint, Corning Gorilla glass to protect the display, GPS, A-GPS,
compass, various sensors, OTG, Dual Band WIFI and an USB Type-C port for
charging and sync data.
