Homtom C2 is a device that was announced just a few
days back targeting at the entry-level category as far as the price is
concerned but it brings more value to the category with its specs and features.
Today, the C2 officially hits the market at a price of US$ 79.99 on Aliexpress, a
pretty competitive price.
The Homtom C2 features a modern 5.5″ 18:9 HD+
display and thanks to the new aspect ratio, it is compact enough even for a
woman’s hand to hold and handle. To power the C2, the company chose the recent
MediaTek MT6739 processor that comes clocked at 1.5Ghz and is accompanied by
2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, expandable up to 128GB more via
microSD.
On the camera department, it is equipped with an
unfamiliar -for the category- dual rear camera that consists of a 13MP and a
2MP sensor. The selfie shooter, which should do a good job, hosts an 8MP sensor
by OV. Other specs include a fingerprint scanner on the back, a good-sized
3000mAh battery and it runs Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box.
