The entry level budget devices recently got a most
welcome boost with the dedicated Android Go system, the lightweight version of
the robust normal Android offering tweaked memory usage, smaller apps and way
more. And the Homtom brand just launched another model running the Android Go
system, the (also known as the C2 Lite). So what can be expect from this phone?
Well you can expect the normal entry level things
and specs, because the Homtom C1 is equipped with our good old friend, the 3G-only
MT6580A quad-core processor. As a support there is only 1 GB RAM and 16 GB of
internal storage, but don’t forget the Android Go is specifically designed for
such low specs to operate fully and without issues. The phone then offers
5,5-inch HD+ resolution 18:9 IPS screen, dual Samsung 13MP+2MP rear camera, 8MP
selfie front shooter, 3000 mAh battery capacity, hybrid dual SIM slot and of
course the Android Go system.
For now we don’t know exactly the planned pricing
for this phone, but judging by the specs and budget aspirations, then wallet
damage is going to be minimal. You can find more information about the phone on
