There are lots of smartphones with notches and there
are lots of rugged phones, but there aren’t too many top notch equipped rugged
phones. In fact, the Ulefone Armor 5 is actually the first ever rugged device
sporting a notch at the top along with the slimmer 18.9:9 aspect ratio. The
smartphone is now up for pre-orders on.
The Armor 5 boasts a really nice 5.85-inch 18.9:9
display with a claimed 91% screen to body ratio and a Corning® Gorilla® Glass 4
coating on top. It also comes with a good and power efficient Mediatek Helio
P23 octa-core processor along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage,
expandable to 256GB as well.
The 16MP+5MP dual rear camera and 13MP front camera
will then help snap excellent photos when out in the wild, meanwhile the
massive 5000mAh capacity battery will make sure you don’t run out of juice in
the middle of nowhere. The large battery will indeed be able to provide at
least two days of autonomy, to then be fast charged at 5V2A with the included
power adapter, it also supports OTG charging and Qi 10W wireless charging for a
more convenient user experience.
The Armor 5 comes with a fingerprint scanner, Face
ID unlocking, so that you can have a pretty safe device. It then supports NFC
and Google Pay function while it runs on Android 8.1 Oreo.
