After some revealing images of the Oppo F9, we now get
the full specs sheet ahead of launch. It is believed that the official
announcement will be held in the following weeks.
The current specs sheet appears to be in line with
the one that got out yesterday - 6.3-inch notched IPS display with 1080 x 2280
pixels resolution reaching a peak brightness of 450 nits. The chipset is
MediaTek Helio P60 paired with either 4 or 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal
storage. We suspect that the F9 Pro will offer more memory configurations.
Anyway, there's a dedicated microSD card slot that alongside the dual SIM slot
that supports memory cards up to 256GB.
On the back, the smartphone will feature 16MP main
camera with f/1.85 aperture aided by a secondary 2MP one for depth sensing
while the front takes a 25MP unit with f/2.0 aperture. The latter clearly
positions the phone as a selfie-centric device.
The handset runs ColorOS 5.2 on top of the Android
8.1 Oreo OS and it's powered by a 3,500 mAh battery. The latter supports Oppo's
VOOC charging standard providing 2-hour talk time in exchange for just 5
minutes on the wall.
