Meizu is set to launch its Meizu 16-series on
Monday, July 30, and just a day before the invites were sent in, a TENAA
listing revealed a good chunk of the the duo's specs.
Now the listings has been extended to include the
complete specs of the Meizu 16 and Meizu 16 Plus. We finally know everything
about the devices, except for some software features that might wow us at the
launch event. The true flagship, Meizu 16 Plus, boasts a Snapdragon 845 chipset
with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The display is a 6.5" Super
AMOLED unit with 1080 x 2160 pixel resolution. And it has a fingerprint reader
underneath.
On the back, the phone has 12MP main camera with an
additional 20MP unit and another 20MP sensor sits on the front for super crisp
selfies. A generous 3,750 mAh battery with mCharge fast charging support is
powering the Flyme-skinned Android 8.1 Oreo phone.
And as for the Meizu 16, which was previously
thought to sport Snapdragon 710 - the TENAA listing shows a Snapdragon 845
behind the wheel. The rest of the specs are identical to the larger version with the
exception of the 6" screen and the 2,950 mAh battery.
