After what seems like a long and excruciating wait
for Magic Leap to launch their new and highly anticipated mixed reality
headset. Magic Leap has finally officially launched the VR and AR headset
making it available to purchase priced from US$ 2,295. Announced via the company’s
official website The Magic Leap One Creator Edition headset is aimed at
developers, creators and explorers and includes everything you need to start
building and exploring virtual reality and augmented reality experiences and
applications.
In the box you will find the Magic Leap Lightwear
headset, Lightpack computing pack, Control handheld input device, a Fit Kit to
ensure a perfectly calibrated fit, chargers, and a handy Quick Start Guide to
get you up and running. “Magic Leap One Creator Edition is a spatial computing
system that brings digital content to life here in the real world with us. Its
unique design and technology lets in natural light waves together with softly
layered synthetic lightfields, enabling creators to build unbelievably
believable interactive experiences and create worlds within our world. And this
is just the beginning.”
As well as the headset Magic Leap are also making
available new applications and experiences together with a set of core
applications that make up the foundation of the company’s spatial computing
platform.
Other applications include the new LuminOS operating
system, Magic Kit, Tónandi, Create and Dr. Grordbort’s Invaders which will be
available soon offering a “larger-than-life, immersive” video game from Magic
