In India, Infinix launched the Smart 2 (X5515). It
is a budget Android smartphone with and 18:9 screen and 4G LTE connectivity. The device boasts entry-level
specs which includes a 5.45-inch 2.5D curved panel with HD+ 1440 x 720 resolution.
Inside, it runs with MediaTek's 2018 entry-level
chip, the 1.5GHz 64-bit MT6739 quad-core processor with PowerVR Rogue GE8100
GPU. It also has 2GB/3GB RAM, 16GB/32GB ROM that's expandable up to 128GB
with microSD card, and 3,050mAh battery.
At the back, this phone has a 13MP primary camera
with f/2.0 aperture and dual-tone LED flash. For selfies, it has an 8MP f/2.0 snapper with dual-tone LED
flash.
As expected it also goes with face unlock tech. This budget phone also has WiFi
802.11 b/g/n, dual 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, and dual SIM slots. It boots with Android 8.1 Oreo OS
w/ XOS 3.3.
It measures at 148 x 71 x 8.4 mm and weighs at 138
g. The Smart 2 will be available in sandstone black, bordeaux red, and
city blue colors. Price starts at Rs. 5,999 which is less than PHP 5K. Currently, it will only available in India via
Flipkart starting August 10.
