Avenir Telecoms is on a streak since the beginning
of the year as many devices under the Energizer brand have been released.
Today, two more models come to add to the Energizer lineup: Energizer P490 and
P490S. The most important feature for both is their compact size as both sport
a 4.95″ 18:9 display which means narrow width for easy one-hand handling.
As for the rest of the specs, most of them are
common between the two models and besides the display they include a 4,000mAh
battery, dual front and back cameras, screen protector as well as shockproof
shells, and fingerprint reader. The difference lies in the chipset used as the
P490 comes with the MT650M SoC and 1GB/8GB memory combination whereas the P490S
is faster with MT6739WA SoC that is accompanied by 2GB of RAM and 16GB of
internal storage. This means that the latter offers 4G/LTE connectivity and the
former just 3G.
As you can imagine, having low-consumption SoCs
combined with small displays and big battery, both should offer amazing battery
life. In the box, you will find a tempered glass as well as a shockproof shell
so you won’t have to worry about accidental drops.
