Intel has this week revealed that next month it will
be making available the first mini PCs in the Intel NUC range equipped with
8th-gen Intel Core “Cannon Lake” processor and AMD graphics. First unveiled
back in April 2018 online retailers such as SimplyNUC are now accepting
preorders for two different configurations reveals Brad Linder over at the
Liliputing website.
The two specifications take the form of the
NUC813CYSM and NUC8i3CYSN the first of which is expected to ship during the
middle of September and be equipped with 8GB of RAM, 1TB of storage, and
Windows 10 Home with prices starting from US$ 575.
The slightly cheaper NUC8i3CYSN mini PC is expected
to ship during October 2018 and is equipped with 4GB of RAM, 1TB of storage,
and Microsoft’s latest Windows 10 Home operating system with prices starting
from US$ 530.
