As we're getting closer to the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 big
announcement, more details about the upcoming phablet continue to surface
online. A couple of pictures of the phone's back panel popped up a few days
ago, revealing info about what's under the hood.
The good news is we do have a confirmation on some
of the components inside the smartphone, such as the huge 5,500 mAh battery and
dual camera configuration on the back, which includes 12-megapixel and 5-megapixel
cameras.
Also, the sticker on the display clearly states the
Mi Max 3 will boast a massive 6.9-inch display, but a rear-mounted fingerprint
sensor is visible as well, especially on the gold version of the phablet. As far as the other specs go,
previous rumors claim Xiaomi's upcoming mid-range smartphone is powered by a
Snapdragon 636 processor, coupled with 3GB, 4GB and 6GB RAM, as well as 32GB,
64GB, and 128GB storage.
A Pro variant is expected to be introduced as well,
which will be equipped with a Snapdragon 710 CPU, dual rear camera (20MP+8MP),
secondary 16-megapixel selfie camera and 5,500 mAh battery. There's no info on prices yet,
but we can safely assume the Mi Max 3 will be much cheaper in China where it
will be initially introduced, than in other countries where Xiaomi plans to
make it available afterward.
