The Vivo Z10 was recently unveiled by the Chinese
innovator (call back to the in-display fingerprint scanner) in India. The
pricing has now been confirmed to be Rs. 14,990 (US$ 218). The device will be
available in offline stores across Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and
Telangana. Vivo has not confirmed whether the device will be available in other
regions. For now, it seems like it will be limited to South India.
The Vivo Z10 sports a 5.99-inch FullView display
with an HD+ (1440 x 720p) resolution and an 18:9 aspect ratio. The phone will
be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chipset clocked at 1.8GHz coupled
with 4GB RAM and 32GB onboard storage which is expandable. The rear holds a
16MP f/2.0 camera while the front is adorned by a 24MP f/2.0 snapper. Face
unlock is supported by a fingerprint scanner. The front and the back both sport
an LED flash.
The phone is powered by a 3,225 mAh battery with no support for
fast charging. Bluetooth, 4G LTE, WiFi, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a micro USB
port at present. The deal breaker is the Android version it runs, Nougat 7.1.2.
The phone has support for dual SIM. It will be available in Blue, Black, and
Gold colours.
