Vivo has confirmed that it
will be selling the Vivo X21 and X21 UD smartphones in night purple color
beginning from July 20. The Chinese manufacturer is now receiving pre-orders of
the X21 and X21 UD through its official online store.
The below image shows that the Vivo X21 and X21 UD
Night Purple editions are respectively priced at 2,998 Yuan and 3,298 Yuan. The
newly introduced Night Purple color variant looks like Aurora blue-purple color
gradient of the Huawei P20 and P20 Pro smartphones. The Chinese manufacturer
claims that the Night Purple is inspired by the night view of the Bolivian Salt
Lake. The reflection of the starry sky also produces a similar dreamy color.
The Vivo X21 and Vivo X21 UD are packed with the
same specs. However, the only major difference between the two phones is that
the X21 UD model features an in-screen fingerprint reader. The Vivo X21 duo houses a
6.28-inch Super AMOLED display that supports FHD+ resolution and an aspect
ratio of 19:9. The Snapdragon 660 SoC is present under the hood of the device.
Both phones include 6 GB of RAM and internal storage of 128 GB. The X21
smartphone also comes in a lower variant that features 64 GB of storage and 6
GB of RAM.
For snapping photos, the X21 duo is equipped with
12-mgeapixel dual rear cameras and a selfie shooter of 12-megapixel. The
FunTouch OS flavored Android 8.1 Oreo is preinstalled on the X21 and X21 UD. Both
phones are fueled by 3,200mAh battery.
Apart from Night Purple, the X21 and X21 UD are also
available in other colors like Diamond Black, Ruby Red and Aurora White. The
newly launched Night Purple variants of X21 duo are also available on
pre-orders through Vivo’s online stores at Tmall, Jingdong, Suning and other
online channels.
