Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has just been made available
to pre-order in both the Chinese and the U.S. markets, with price tags of US$ 999.99 and 5699 Yuan. In the meantime, we are waiting for the
official announcement of its successor: Sony Xperia XZ3. According to a new
leaked photo surfaced on the known publication Sumahoinfo, the upcoming
flagship will sport four cameras. The photo shows two camera setups: a dual
camera which will be placed on the rear side and a dual selfie camera. Note
that the Japanese company has already released two devices with dual cameras:
the Xperia XZ2 Premium with a dual rear camera and the Xperia XA2 Ultra with a
dual front camera.
But until now, it has never launched a handset with
four cameras. It looks like Sony Xperia XZ3 will be the first. According to the
source, it will be showcased at IFA 2018 in Berlin, one of the most important
trade shows related to technology which will take place in September. We expect
the flagship to come alongside the XZ3 Compact, a smaller and pocketable
variant of the flagship. According to reports, the flagship will arrive with a
glass back as well as an aluminum frame with the IP65/68 certification which
will make it waterproof.
Sony Xperia XZ3 should have a medium sized display
with a 5.7-inch diagonal, an 18:9 aspect ratio and a Full HD+ resolution. On
the hardware side, it should come with the octa-core Snapdragon 845 chipset or
its successor 855, while the RAM should be 6 GB or more and the internal
storage should start from 64 GB. Just like most of Sony devices we expect the
XZ3 to offer high resolutions for its four cameras, as well as bright apertures
and very advanced technologies such as predictive autofocus and the support to
960 fps slow motion.
