Previous rumors have suggested that the Samsung
Foldable smartphone could launch as the Galaxy X, although recent information
has suggested that was incorrect.
Now it looks like we have a possible name for this
new smartphone, it could end up launching as the Samsung Galaxy F. According to a recent report the Samsung Galaxy F
will be a super high end range of smartphones, which would tie in with the
Samsung foldable smartphone. The handset is rumored to possibly cost as much as
$2,000 when it launches.
Samsung’s new foldable smartphone is rumored to come
with a 7 inch display that folds in half, there is also a secondary display on
the handset for notifications an more. The device will feature a curved
battery.
As yet we do not know any other specifications on
the device, there are no details on what processor it will come with and also
no details on RAM or what cameras the handset will feature. Samsung are
expected to launch this new foldable smartphone at Mobile World Congress 2019
next February.
The company is apparently launching its Galaxy S10
and S10 Plus smartphones earlier than normal as not to clash with the launch of
the new Samsung Galaxy F, these handsets are expected to launch in January.
