Truly Ergonomic located in Vancouver,
Canada has designed and created a new mechanical keyboard designed to fix
conventional keyboard annoyances, disliked by all keyboard users. The aptly
named Perfected mechanical keyboard has been created to provide the most
“comfortable and satisfying typing experience” currently available and offers a
wide variety of features including dual space bars, wide Ctrl-Alt keys,
dedicated copy and paste keys, multiple media keys, menu keys water and snack
resistant casing, aluminium body and more.
The new mechanical keyboard is launched via Indiegogo
this week to raise the US$ 20,000 required to make the jump into production. The ergonomic mechanical keyboard
features custom-made optical mechanical switches that emit and sense infrared
light. A nano coating has also been applied to the keyboard making it water
resistant, dust resistant and even snack resistant, say its creators.
Pledges for the Perfect mechanical
keyboard start from US$ 99 offering early adopters a 50 percent saving off the
recommended retail price of US$ 200 which will take effect once the crowdfunding
campaign comes to an end and shipping commences during October 2018. The early
bird offer is only available to the first 100 lucky backers after which the
price will steadily rise every hundred pledges.
