Jonathan Hodgins has prototyped and designed a new
hackable digital watch equipped with inductive charging and more. The designer of MechWatch explained more about the
inspiration behind the wrist worn wearable which is now available to back via
Kickstarter with earlybird pledges available from £ 154 or roughly US$ 200.
The digital watch is equipped with a microcontroller
making the behaviour of the watch customisable enabling owners to easily
reprogram it to suit their exact needs and requirements and display visual
signals using the LEDs on the watch face. Even though it may look tricky to
tell the time due to its oblique presentation but once you know how it is
fairly straightforward explains Jonathan.
