After recently holding a very lacklustre press
conference during which no new information, specifications or even a live demo
was shown by Magic Leap. The company specialising in mixed reality hardware
capable of both augmented reality and virtual reality and currently developing
the Magic Leap One headset has this week announced that it promises to share
specifications and also provide a live demonstration during next week’s Magic
Leap Live session.
Hopefully after a long wait Magic Leap will actually
have some credible specifications and show what they knew hardware is capable
of, putting an end to the vapourware rumours still circulating. From previous
press releases we already know that the Magic Leap One headset will offer
digital lightfield technology, visual perception, persistent objects, sound
field audio and be equipped with a high-powered chipset next-generation
interface.
As soon as more information specifications and
finally a live demonstration of the Magic Leap One mixed reality headset is
made available we will keep you up to date as always.
