A new smart speaker has been launched via
Kickstarter by audio hardware manufacturer Fanstereo offering a lightweight
voice-activated wireless speaker and microphone. The Fanstereo Nubump VDA smart speaker which is now
available to back via Kickstarter priced from US$ 79 or roughly £ 60.
Early bird Kickstarter backers will receive a US$ 120
discount off the recommended retail price of US$ 199 and If all goes well
worldwide shipping is expected to take place during September 2018. The
lightweight Smart speaker is equipped with a rechargeable battery capable of
providing up to 18 hours of use and is equipped with advanced wireless
technology providing a range of up to 100 ft.
