Amazon has announced that a new Amazon Fire Tablet
accessory Called the Show Mode Charging Dock that is capable of transforming
the tablet into an Echo Show. The Show Mode dock will be officially released on
July 12th, 2018 and is now available to preorder priced at US$ 35 for the Fire HD8
and US$ 50 for the Fire HD10.
Once your campfire tablet is connected to the dock
it automatically switches to Show Mode allowing you to enjoy movies, TV shows,
books, apps, and games while the device charges and is docked. Users can also
interact with Alexa to start a hands-free video or voice call. You can even
pick up the tablet to take the call with you if desired.
- Transform your tablet to an immersive, full-screen Alexa experience optimized for visibility across the room. Just ask Alexa to show trending news, timers and alarms, movie showtimes, weather, and more.
- Stream music from Pandora, TuneIn, and iHeartRadio (Spotify is coming soon) and listen to audiobooks from Audible. Just ask Alexa to play a song, artist, or genre, see lyrics with Amazon Music.
- For richer sound, connect your tablet to external speakers via Bluetooth or 3.5 mm audio cable.
