360 N7 Pro

On May 8, Chinese phone maker focused on Android security – 360 – released the mid-range 360 N7, in Beijing. After a lapse of two months, another 360 mobile phone quietly appeared on the Chinese certification platform 3C today.

A 360 device with model number 1809-A01 did indeed pass the famous 3C certification process. As we’ve seen with other phones before, the charger it gets listed with is what gave it away. The smartphone does, in fact, come with a charger bearing a QK-S005 model number, which is the same of the previously launched 360 N7. This usually means one thing: the company is going to launch its closest successor, the 360 N7 Pro.

Prior to today, we had seen some N7 Pro leaked renders, but they were quickly refuted by 360 Mobile’s president – Li Kaixin. Albeit he did admit the company was working on the upgraded device.

Considering that the 360 N7 is equipped with a Snapdragon 660 processor, it’s quite safe to assume that the N7 Pro is most likely to carry the latest Snapdragon 710 CPU, which is the successor of the Snapdragon 660. The SoC is built on a 10nm process, using Kryo 360 architecture, eight core design, CPU clock of 2.2GHz, Adreno 616 GPU achieving an AnTuTu score of around 170,000.

In addition to that, the 360 N series has a tradition of coming with large capacity batteries. The 360 N6 Pro came with a 4050mAh battery, meanwhile the 360 N7 sports a 5030mAh battery, so we expect the 360 N7 Pro to be around those numbers as well.
