WD My Passport Wireless SSD

Tech, for as much as it has advanced, still isn’t reliable enough to use without failsafes. Things like SD cards can get corrupted, lost, or damaged surprisingly easily. Now, thanks to Western Digital’s My Passport Wireless SSD, you no longer have to rely solely on them to keep your photos safe.

The SSD, which comes in storage configurations ranging from 250GB to 2TB, features both an SD card slot, and USB ports with 65MB/s and 390 MB/s transfer rates respectively. With this tool on hand, all you need to do to backup your SD card is throw it in the external hard drive’s port and hit the one-tap backup button. Thanks to My Passport Wireless’ 802.11ac WiFi connection, you can then connect your tablet or laptop to the hard rive to review your shots.

Need juice in a pinch? The hard drive can also serve as a backup power bank. And as if all of that wasn’t enough, it’s also drop proof up to 1 meter.
