The presales for the flashy brand new rugged model
from Vernee are already here and the Vernee V2 Pro phone is trying to slightly
going against the flow concerning the design. Most of the rugged phones are the
bulky armored monsters, but the V2 Pro is more
or less trying to look like a normal good looking phone while offering
all the rugged qualities.
For that it’s of course sporting the IP68
certification making it waterproof and dust-proof, after all it can stay in 1.5
meter deep water for 30 minutes or more. It’s also shatter proof than to the
tough case with “small dot” design, magnalium middle frame and thickened
military level TPU material for the four corners. And it’s even very resistant
to extreme temperatures, it can still be used under -30℃ to 60℃.
Vernee V2 Pro uses an all-screen design to put the
traditional rugged looks away and with 5,99-inch FHD+ display it sports 81.3%
screen-to-body ratio and is covered by proetctive anti-scratch Corning Gorilla
Glass 2.5D strong glass. Inside we can find the octa-core Helio P23 processor
with highest core frequency up to 2.5 GHz, fast 6 GB of LPDDR4X RAM, Mali-G71
GPU, 64 GB of internal storage and specialized VOS system to improve the
performance and decrease the power consumption.
As for the cameras V2 Pro goes the four camera
route, rear 16MP+5MP combo with Sony IMX258 as the main sensor, f/2.0 aperture
and PDAF support. Selfie duo comes with 13MP+5MP sensors and upgraded beauty
mode 2.0 or front light flash.
Battery capacity is also nothing to scoff at with
6200 mAh and 9V/2A fast charging capability. According to the makers it can
last up to 4 days of usage or 76 days in standby mode. And with the special VOS
power saving mode maybe even more. Vernee V2 Pro has some extra handy features
too, like the inclusion of NFC, heart rate monitor, global LTE bands with 6
modes and 27 total bands, Face ID tech, fingeprint scanner in the back and
Android 8.1 Oreo system.
The Vernee V2 Pro is now on sale over on Efox at
just € 209.99.
