HMD Global unveiled three new devices, upgrading its
entry-level and mid-range portfolio. The Nokia 2.1 is the company's first phone
with Android Oreo Go Edition, the Nokia 3.1 comes as a follow-up of the most
successful HMD smartphone in 2017, while the Nokia 5.1 delivers some premium
features on the cheap.
The devices are priced between € 99 and € 189 and
should be arriving in the following month or two. And now we have a few videos
of the trio to kill some time while we wait.
Nokia 2.1 is aimed at developing markets with its
trimmed Go Android. Since the apps do not waste memory, the phone with a 4,000
mAh power cell has a massive battery life - HMD promises two days of continuous
usage, but we’ll put the statement to the test once the device arrives to the
office.
The Nokia 3.1 comes with a tall screen and promises
a premium experience and quality at an affordable price. It is surprisingly
small in hand, especially compared with the Nokia 2.1.
Design is key for the Nokia 5.1, and this is what
the promo video focuses on. The video gives pretty much the right impression
that the Nokia 5.1 looks stunning both in Copper and in Blue.
