Cricket is releasing a new smartphone today, the
weirdly named Moto E5 Supra. This is in fact the AT&T-owned carrier's
version of the phone we know as Moto E5 Plus. Thus, the Supra comes with a
6-inch HD+ touchscreen, a 12 MP rear camera and an 8 MP front cam (both with
LED flash), 3GB of RAM, 32GB of expandable storage, and a 5,000 mAh battery. It
runs Android 8.0 Oreo.
Its distinctive reflective wave pattern design and
the arched back give it a unique look. The handset features a water repellent
coating which will safeguard against spills and splashes. Don't confuse this
for water resistance, though.
Cricket is offering the Moto E5 Supra for just US$ 179.99 with its qualifying service plans (2GB, 5GB, Unlimited, Unlimited Max).
It should show up as being in stock in the carrier's online store by the end of
the day.
