Love Hulten Pet De Lux Retro Console

Most people credit Atari with the revolutionizing of the gaming console, but they forget that there were others that helped chart that path alongside them. Take, for instance, the Commodore Personal Electronic Transactor (PET, for short). Released in 1977, it was the world’s first all-in-one home computer, and now Love Hulten has thoughtfully recreated it as a modern retro console.

Handmade with American walnut, no detail of this classic gaming machine has gone unconsidered – it even features the signature chiclet keyboard and tape deck. Under the hood, however, this computer is all modern-tech – giving it the ability to emulate a collection of video games from a number of old school consoles.

And each PET comes with a set of TAC-2 joystick-inspired handmade wireless controllers to navigate those games. If you want a PET De Lux retro consoles for yourself, you’ll have to reach out to Love Hulten for pricing and availability.
