Libre Computer Renegade Elite Mini PC

Following on from the launch of the Libre Computer Renegade mini PC last year, the company has now unveiled its new mini PC in the form of the Libre Computer Renegade Elite taking the form of a single board mini PC equipped with a RK3399 processor.

Featuring a Rockchip RK3399 hexa-core processor with two ARM Cortex-A72 CPU cores, four ARM Cortex-A53 CPU cores supported by quad-core ARM Mali-T860 graphics and 4GB of RAM. The new mini PC will offer a more powerful system that should be capable of running Android Oreo software or GNU/Linux-based operating systems with the Linux 4.19 mainline kernel or later, or a Rockchip-specific build featuring kernel version 4.4 or later, says Brad Linder from the Liliputing website.

Connections and ports on the Libre Computer Renegade Elite mini PC include a handy microSD card slot, eMMC 5.x interface for storage, as well as HDMI 2.0 port, Gigabit Ethernet, 3 x USB 2.0 Type-A ports, 2 x USB 3.0 Type-C ports, including one with power delivery support.

Unfortunately, no information on pricing or worldwide availability has been released as yet has been announced by Libre Computer, but as soon as information comes to light, we will keep you updated as always. The original Libre Computer Renegade is also still available to purchase priced at around $35 from online retailers such as Amazon and LoverPi.
