Announced by LG at the end of May, the V35 ThinQ is
a high-end smartphone that's currently available only on AT&T, while you
could also pre-order it from Google's Project Fi (with shipments expected to
start in July). But an unlocked LG V35 ThinQ also exists, and it looks like it
will be released in the near future.
We just discovered that LG is listing the unlocked
V35 ThinQ on its official US website as "coming soon." Unlike the
AT&T variant of the handset, which is available in two colors (black and
grey), the unlocked model will be offered in black only. For now, the price of
the unlocked LG V35 ThinQ isn't mentioned, but the phone will probably cost US$ 899, since that's the outright price asked by AT&T and Project Fi.
The unlocked V35 ThinQ has all the CDMA, GSM, and
LTE bands you need in the US, thus it's going to be compatible with all major
carriers (Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint). Thanks to features like a
Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor and upgraded cameras, the V35 ThinQ is the
most advanced LG V-series phone to date. Before deciding if you want to buy the
handset - unlocked or not - you should take a closer look at it in our LG V35
ThinQ hands-on.
