The 2018 Consumer Electronics Show (CES Asia) is
presently ongoing in Shanghai, China. One of the first products to get unveiled
is the Hisense H20 smartphone. The phone has all the dressings of a premium
mid-range model. It will be officially launched on June 26. The device is
similar to the Hisense HLTE510T which got certified by China’s TENAA last week.
The Hisense H20 comes with a 19:9 full-screen design
and from the TENAA listing we know it is a 5.84-inch screen. The display design
includes a notch at the top while the bezels at the sides are minimal. The
bottom bezel at the chin is also reduced. In terms of appearance, the design
looks sleek despite the cut out which isn’t too wide.
The rear design includes a dual camera setup
arranged vertically at the top left corner. The camera pixels weren’t revealed
but from TENAA we can grab that it is a 12MP + 5MP combo while there is a 20MP
selfie shooter onboard. Both cameras are AI-enabled. There is also a
rear-mounted fingerprint sensor at the back. The back design also looks sleek.
The Hisense H20 packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon
636chipset paired with 6GB of RAM. The device also comes with 128GB of internal
storage. It is possible that there will be other memory variants. The device
runs on Android 8.1 Oreo which will likely have a custom skin on top. The phone
also comes with built-in AI system. The pricing and availability are yet to be
revealed but will go official on June 26.
