Constellation Audio Leo Sound System

A new sound system has been unveiled by Constellation Audio in the form of the Leo, which looks more like a next generation games console than a sound system equipped with a pair of 6.5-inch woofers. The woofers are positioned within the case in an opposed parallel configuration to cancel out vibrations. Each is powered by a dedicated twin 140-Watt Class D amplifiers, while the two 2.5-inch midrange drivers and dual 0.75-inch tweeters each have their own 70-Watt amps for a total of 560 Watts of power.

Other features of the Leo include a multichannel DSP that optimises the sound quality, tailoring it to whatever source is playing, whether it be AirPlay, Chromecast, Bluetooth, optical digital, Ethernet, or the built-in MC/MM phono stage.

Unfortunately, no information on pricing or worldwide availability has been released as yet, but as soon as information comes to light, we will keep you updated as always. Expect more information to be made available towards the end of 2018.
