Cyclists needing to leave their bike unattended in
outside locations may be interested in a new secure single bike storage system
called the Alpen Bike Capsule, which is now available to preorder at a
discounted price of US$ 899. The bike storage provides a waterproof durable,
rotomoulded storage capsule or bike garage, that can be securely bolted to the
ground and is equipped with a lock.
Outside dimensions of the Alpen Bike Capsule are
2017 x 1334 x 818mm with internal dimension measuring Front Wheel Straight: 23″
(584mm), Front Wheel Turned: 32″ (813mm), Front Wheel Off: 36″+ (914mm+). A
maximum bike length of : 75″ (1,905mm) and a maximum seat height of 46″
(1,168mm).
