The entry-level alcatel 1, detailed specs and
renders for which leaked late last week, has now been made official by the
company. The device costs US$ 89/€ 79, and will be available "in select
markets" starting July.
The device is powered by Mediatek's MT6739 chipset,
and sports a 5-inch display of 960x480 pixel resolution (18:9 aspect ratio).
RAM is 1GB, while storage is 8GB. The camera department is handled by a 5MP
rear unit and a 2MP (interpolated to 5MP) front shooter.
Measuring 137.6 x 65.7 x 9.8mm and weighing in at
134g, the device runs Android Oreo (Go edition), and packs in a 2,000mAh
battery. Color options include Metallic blue, Metallic gold, and Metallic
black.
