Nintendo Switch owners searching for a small pocket
-sized wireless controller may be interested in the 8BitDo Zero 2 controller
showcased by peripheral manufacturers 8BitDo at this year’s E3 2018 games conference.
Engadget were able to get their hands on dummies of the retro-styled controller
and snap a few photos ahead of a full production run.
As you would expect the latest 8BitDo Zero 2 builds
on the technology from the first 8BitDo Zero controller designed to support
gameplay on mobile devices running operating system such as MacOS, Android and
Windows. As well as other Bluetooth compatible hardware.
The currently available 8BitDo Zero weighs just 50
grams and measures just 73mm x 35mm x 10mm, boasting an 18 hour lithium ion
battery, is small enough to carry on your keychain and is now available to
purchase.
Unfortunately, no information on pricing or
worldwide availability has been released as yet for the second generation
8BitDo Zero 2, but as soon as information comes to light, we will keep you
