Sharp went official with the AQUOS R2 flagship
smartphone in Japan on Wednesday but apart from the flagship model, the
innovative tech company also launched the AQUOS Sense Plus.
Sharp AQUOS Sense Plus is an upgrade of the AQUOS Sense
which was launched in October last year. Unlike the Aquos Sense which is
basically an entry-level model, the Sense Plus is positioned in the mid-range
segment. The AQUOS Sense Plus features a 5.5-inch IGZO display with a full HD+
resolution of 2160 × 1080 with an 18:9 aspect ratio. Thankfully, this isn’t
another notch-totting smartphone as it doesn’t have a notch on the display. The
device packs a front home button which will likely function as its fingerprint
reader.
The device is powered by a Snapdragon 630 processor
paired with 3 GB RAM while there is 32 GB of internal storage which is believed
to be expandable. The AQUOS Sense Plus is equipped with a single camera sensor
at the rear located at the top left corner while a LED flash is at the bottom of
the camera.
The Sharp AQUOS Sense Plus comes in White, Black and Gold
colours. There is no word yet on its price or when the device will be
available.
