The new Samsung Galaxy A6 and Galaxy A6 Plus
handsets were made official yesterday. Now we have some details on the European
pricing for the two devices. The Galaxy A6 will retail for € 309 in Europe and
the Galaxy A6 Plus will retail for € 369. The two handsets will come in a choice
of colors that will include black, gold, blue and purple.
Samsung will be launching the handsets in Europe
before the end of the month, the A6 will apparently launch in the next three
weeks and the A6 Plus within the next 4 weeks. As a reminder the Galaxy A6
features a 5.6 inch display with a HD+ resolution of 1480 x 720 pixels. The A6
Plus comes with a 6 inch display with a Full HD+ resolution of 2220 x 1080
pixels.
The A6 is powered by a an octa core 1.6GHz processor
and it comes with a choice of 3GB or 4GB of RAM and 32GB and 64GB of storage.
The A6 Plus features an octa core 1.8GHz processor and the same storage
options.
The Samsung Galaxy A6 has a front facing 16
megapixel camera for Selfies and on the back there is a 16 megapixel camera for
photos and videos. The Galaxy A6 Plus features a 24 megapixel camera for
Selfies. On the back there is a dual camera setup with one 16 megapixel camera
and one 5 megapixel camera. Both handsets come with Android 8.0 Oreo.
