Panasonic has unveiled a new addition to their range
of rugged compact cameras, announcing the arrival of their very first with
integrated electronic viewfinder, taking the form of the Panasonic Lumix FT7.
The Lumix FT7 rugged compact camera will be available in three colours, orange,
blue and black and will be available to purchase worldwide from July 2018
priced at £ 399.
Specifications of the new rugged Panasonic Lumix FT7
camera include a 20.4-megapixel high-sensitivity sensor supported by a 28mm
wide-angle 4.6x (28-128mm equivalent) optical zoom lens with Power O.I.S
(Optical Image Stabilisation).
One of the new unique features of the Lumix FT7
visits 0.2-inch 1,170k-dot equivalent Live View Finder. On the rear of the
camera, Panasonic has fitted a 3.0-inch monitor that offers the
highest-in-class 1,040k-dot resolution. Providing a camera that is capable of
full-resolution high-speed burst photography at 10fps with high-resolution 4K
video recording capabilities.
The Lumix FT7 camera is waterproof Up to a depth of
31 m or 102 feet and is shockproof and capable of withstanding drops from 2 m
or 6.6 feet. The rugged cameras also freeze proof down to a temperature of -10°
C and is also pressure and rustproof resistant to 100kg/220lbf.
