The Meizu M6T is finally official after weeks of
teasers and leaks. Most of what we learned about the new M6T turned out real. Highlights of the Meizu M6T specs are a 5.7-incher
tall-aspect 18:9 1440x720px LCD, a MediaTek MT6750 chipset with quad-core CPU
and 3GB or 4GB of RAM and a dual camera on the back. You get a main 13MP f/2.2
unit and a depth-sensing 2MP f/2.4 secondary module for portrait shots.
The selfie camera is a single 8MP unit with an f/2.0
lens that also enables face unlock. There's also a fingerprint scanner on the
back with 0.2s response time. Meizu calls the sensor mBack and it allows you to
control the UI through swipe gestures.
The Meizu M6T will go on sale in China in three
colors - Black, Gold and Red - and in three configurations. The base 3GB+32GB
model costs CNY 799 (€ 110), the 4GB+32GB is priced at CNY 999 (€ 135) and the
top of the line 4GB+64GB model costs CNY 1,099 (€ 150).
