Although none of Meizu’s new flagship phones support
wireless charging, the manufacturer announced a wireless charger at its April
launch event. However, if you own a device that supports wireless charging or
even Meizu’s own POP wireless earbuds, then you may want to pick up a unit.
The Chinese manufacturer has announced that its
wireless charger which supports 10W fast charging will go on sale tomorrow. The
charger comes in black and white and will be priced at ¥ 99 (US$ 16). It will be
available on Meizu’s online store as well as other major online stores.
The charger supports 5V/2A and 9V/1.6A input and
10W, 7.5W, and 5W output. It has a diameter of 106mm and a thickness of 8.8mm
and comes with a 1-meter long cable. Meizu also adds that it offers up to 6
different charging protection.
