T-Mobile jumped the gun and listed the LG
K30 on its support pages. Today
the phone has become official, and you can already purchase one from the
magenta carrier's website.
It boasts a 5.3-inch 720p 16:9 touchscreen, a 13 MP
main camera with LED flash, a 5 MP selfie shooter, and a 2,880 mAh battery.
It's powered by the Snapdragon 425 chipset from Qualcomm, aided by 2GB of RAM
and 32GB of internal storage, of which 23.65GB are user accessible. A microSD
card slot is there for expansion should you need it.
The K30 has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, a
3.5 mm headset jack, and support for LTE bands 2, 4, 5, 7, 12, 66, and 71. It
runs Android 7.1 Nougat. You can pick one up for US$ 225 all-in, or US$ 9 down and
then 24 monthly installments of US$ 9.
