A render of the Huawei Y5 Prime (2018) leaked online
last month. It appears its launch is drawing closer as the phone has visited
China’s TENAA. The phone has two variants with model number DRA-AL00 and
DRA-TL00 respectively. Both have the same specs and are probably just network
variants.
The Huawei Y5 Prime (2018) has a 5.45-inch 1440 x
720 display and is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor. There is 2GB of RAM
and 32GB of storage which can be expanded up to 256GB via a MicroSD card slot.
There is a 13MP sensor on the rear and a 5MP
front-facing camera. It runs Android 8.1 Oreo and has a 2,920mAh battery. TENAA
says it will come in black, blue, and gold. The phone weighs 142g and measures
146.5 x 70.9 x 8.3 mm. Pictures provided on TENAA confirm that the Huawei Y5
Prime will not have a fingerprint scanner.
