Huawei new Watch 2 2018
edition has surfaced on the
internet, thanks to famous leakster Evan Blass. It will sport a 1.2-inch AMOLED
display and will be powered by the Snapdragon 2100. It will also come with eSIM
support, which will be the only change compared to the last year’s model.
The Huawei Watch 2 comes with AMOLED display with
390×390 resolution and 326PPI. It packs 768MB RAM and 4GB storage, and a 420mAh
battery. Connectivity features include Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi (b/g/n), GPS, eSIM,
and has IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. Sensors on board include an
accelerometer, gyroscope, barometer, heart rate, capacitance, ambient light,
geomagnetic. Going by the leaked images, the Watch seems to have a bunch of
Watch faces to customize the look.
Huawei will be launching the Watch 2 2018 edition
sometime this year, but we don’t have the exact time frame of the same. The
company recently patented a smartwatch that is specially designed for gaming.
Though the Watch 2 2018 edition looks feature rich, it is not expected to come
with NFC support.
