Chuwi are more and more expanding
into the realm of the mini PC computers and following the Indiegogo campaign
for their high-end gaming model Chuwi HiGame there is another piece in the
works. This more affordable and budget mini PC will be soon available through
normal retail channels directly and will be named Chuwi GBox.
It will be based on the Intel latest Gemini Lake
platform and will feature the Celeron N4100 64-bit quad-core processor, 4 GB
RAM, 64 GB of internal basic storage and SATA+M.2 expansion slots. With the 9th
Gen Intel HD graphics and VGA+HDMI ports you can connect up to 2 monitors and
you are good to go for up to 4K resolution, VP9 and HEVC 10-bit codecs.
All should be enclosed in metal compact and light
body and will be sporting some nice connectivity options too including
dual-band AC Wi-Fi, Gigabit ethernet, Bluetooth,2 x USB 3.0 ports, 2 x USB 2.0
ports, USB Type-C port, microSD slot and others. It will support remote
controllers and you can even install Linux if needed over the default Windows
10 system.
More information about the upcoming Chuwi GBox is
available on the official website, but so far we have no idea about the
projected price for this mini PC and the actual date of availability. Speaking
