Smartphone photographers searching for a way to
easily add extra microphones, lights, lenses and stability to their mobile
phone camera, may be interested in a new device aptly named the Cage, designed
by the team at Grip & Shoot based in Chicago.
Offering a span of 3.5”, Cage is able to accommodate
even the largest smartphones, with or without their cases and is equipped with
a standard ¼-20 mount on the bottom of the frame allowing you to fix it to a
tripod if required.
The Cage smartphone camera rig is now available to
back via Kickstarter with early bird pledges available from US$ 175 or £ 129. For
