Virtual reality developers may be interested to know
that Virtual Builds, a company of ASIC engineering firm Noisefigure Research
has now started marketing its new SteamVR Tracking development hardware In the
form of Virtual Builds Pebble Kit which supports SteamVR Tracking 1.0 and 2.0.
Once built
the trackers are capable of providing tracking for a single object to the
SteamVR Environment with VALVe OpenVR API. Priced at US$ 200 developers can select their required
core and also either purchase the tracker either assembled or in kit form
depending on their preferences. The tracking system is capable of supporting up
to 32 VR Sensors
