Previous reports have revealed that HMD Global’s
upcoming Nokia 9 flagship will be releasing this year in September with premium
specs and features. A Finland-based website has received a pdf file that not
only shows the rear view of the Nokia 9, but also it reveals its entire
specifications.
The source file claims that the Nokia 9 would be
arriving as a successor of the Nokia 808 and Nokia Lumia 1020 smartphones.
What’s interesting about this smartphone is that is decked with triple lens
camera setup by ZEISS.
According to the source file, the Nokia 9 features a
6.01-inch AMOLED display that supports an aspect ratio of 18:9. The display
offers QHD resolution and it is protected by Gorilla Glass 5. It features an
IP68 certified water and dust-resistant chassis and its rear panel is made out
of ceramic that has an 18-karat gold finish. It measures 150.6 x 75.2 x 7.3m.
The Snapdragon 845 chipset powers the phone along
with 8 GB of LPRDDR4X RAM. It has 256 GB of UFS 2.1 storage. The handset is
loaded with Android One edition of the Android 8.1 Oreo OS. It is packed with a
3,900mAh battery that includes support for Quick Charge 4.0 fast charging and
fast Qi wireless charging.
The rear side of the Nokia 9 features a 41-megapixel
primary wide-angle lens, 20-megapixel telephoto lens and a 9.7-megapixel
monochrome lens. This information contradicts previous rumors that claims that
the Nokia 9 will be arrive with a penta-lens camera setup.
The triple lens system is coupled with Xenon and LED
flash. The main camera lens offers features like f/1.5 to f/2.4 variable
aperture, OIS and a pixel size of 1.4micron. For shooting selfies, it is fitted
with a 21-megapixel front camera with ZEISS optics. It is capable at snapping
high quality images in dim-light conditions. The display of the phone can
brighten up to function as flash while snapping selfies in low light.
The Nokia 9 features 5 high performance microphones
that can capture the quietest whisper in 24-bit audio. It can also support
crystal clear audio recording in the loudest surroundings. Its other features
are in-screen fingerprint scanner, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, USB-C, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC
GPS, and GLONASS. It lacks 3.5mm audio jack.
