After previously making their new Nest Cam IQ
outdoor smart security camera available throughout the United States, Nest has
today announced its arrival in Europe and the United Kingdom. The new Nest Cam
IQ outdoor security camera is now available to purchase priced at £ 329 and
offers a 4K sensor with HDR and intelligent imaging.
The daytime HDR feature allows the Nest Cam IQ
combine multiple 4K images to even out “challenging lighting conditions” says
Google, so details won’t disappear or be lost in the shadows when recording
footage. The Nest IQ camera is also capable of recognising family members using
face recognition and can send owners personal alerts as well as HD two-way
voice communication if required thanks to its companion application.
