There's been a dearth of quality battery cases for
the iPhone X so far, not least because most of the popular ones on Amazon are
made by obscure companies with conflicting reviews about their wares. Case in
point are the Amazon's Choice wrappers that offer whopping battery capacities
on paper, but are with dubious design, and some even charge the phone itself
wirelessly, wasting a terrible amount of energy in the process.
Enter Mophie, the Cadillac of battery cases, with
its own take on the iPhone X energy supply that is a humble receiver only, and
doesn't have eye-popping capacity, but is fairly elegant, and will be the first
one Qi-certified to charge both the case and the phone. Yes, the upcoming
Mophie Juice Pack Air just popped up in AT&T's database with 1720mAh
battery and pass-through wireless charging.
The wrapper will be offered in red and blue, and is slated to cost US$ 90, at least in AT&T's shop, which is
slightly less than what Mophie usually charges for those. Mum's the word on
availability, but it shouldn't be a long wait to grab the first Qi-certified
battery case for the iPhone X from America's second largest carrier, or from
Mophie itself.
