Ahead of its adjusted May 5th 2018 launch date the
new Lenovo Mirage Solo standalone VR headset is now available to preorder
priced at US$ 400, together with the Lenovo VR180 camera. The Lenovo Mirage Solo
VR headset is capable of viewing 360 degree videos and VR games and
applications without the need for a connection to a PC or using a smartphone.
Internally the VR headset is powered by an Qualcomm
Snapdragon 835 processor supported by 4GB of RAM together with a display QHD
IPS display that offers a blur-free, low-latency and 110 degree field of view.
Without the need to be tethered to an expensive high-powered PC the Mirage
standalone VR headset allows users to explore their virtual world by roaming
free as well as Duck, dodge, sidestep and leap, just like in real life, says
Lenovo.
The Lenovo Mirage Solo VR headset is now available
to preorder from the likes of Amazon and other online retailers and Lenovo
partners priced at $400 and will be released on May 6th, 2018 from Amazon. The
internal battery of the Lenovo Mirage Solo is capable of providing up to 3
hours of use on a single charge. Enabling users to enjoy “hundreds of
incredible experiences at your fingertips–including YouTube, Netflix” and more.
