In 2018, Huawei has managed to come in with various
high-end and mid-range devices sporting trendy features. As for the low-end
market, the company has announced it will launch three models named the Huawei
Enjoy 8, Huawei Enjoy 8e, and Huawei Enjoy 8 Plus. These smartphones are
focusing on younger customers. So it’s expected they will cost affordable.
On the other hand, the Enjoy-line devices have
always come with a stylish look. These models shouldn’t be an exception. But
they are considered to be thousand-yuan smartphones. That’s not a secret there
is a huge number of customers ready to pay not more than a hundred dollar for a
smartphone. In the past two years, this space has been supported by the
Y-series. Yesterday, Evan Blass exposed the photos of three new phones from
this family including the Huawei Y3 (2018), Huawei Y5 Prime, and Huawei Y6.
The previous models from this family came with
humble features and quite affordable price tags. As they belong to the
entry-level niche, it’s naïve to wait for a powerful performance or trendy
features. Though no information has been revealed concerning their features,
the leaked photos show the Huawei Y3 and Huawei Y5 Prime come with no
fingerprint identification scanned. On the contrary, the Huawei Y5 Prime and
the Huawei Y6 will be equipped with front soft lights. It’s also expected these
handsets will come with a 720P screen and 2GB of RAM, at least.
The Huawei Y-series handsets are way lower than the
Honor Play 7 series smartphones. Taking into account the release time of
previous Y-line devices, we can assume these new models will make their way in
the nearest future.
