In an exclusive unboxing video, Mrwhosethebossa, a
popular YouTuber, unboxed the prototype version of the upcoming Doogee Mix 4.
Yes, you read that part right. Doogee is already prepping for the Mix 4 before
they launch the follow-up to the Mix 2, the alleged Mix 3.
What made the prototype version of the Mix 4
interesting is it has a clever type of real bezel-less design without a notch.
It has a 6.2-inch AMOLED display with a jaw-dropping 97 percent screen-to-body
ratio! In comparison, i'll have a much bigger screen-to-body ratio versus the
iPhone X, Huawei P20 Pro, and all the other notch design phones and the Galaxy
phones with Infinity Displays.
To make its almost true bezel-less design possible,
Doogee implemented an innovative sliding mechanism on its dual-layer design to
hide the selfie camera and the other sensors. It's a clever engineering feat in
terms of design overall.
The phone is also said to feature an under-glass
fingerprint sensor, dual camera setup at the back, and a Snapdragon processor
inside. The minor downside? It'll be a bit thicker than most modern smartphones
at around 11 mm thick. You'll also need to slide the phone down whenever you
need to take a selfie.
The Doogee Mix 4 is expected to launch late this
2018.
